Special Budget Meeting for November 13, 2024

The Vashon Health Care District will have a Special Budget Meeting on November 13, 2024

King County Public Hospital District #5, dba Vashon Health Care District, will hold a Special Meeting on Wednesday, November 13, 2023, at 7 p.m. at the Vashon Presbyterian Church at 17708 Vashon Hwy SW, Vashon and via Zoom at https://zoom.us/j/82699377083.

The purpose of the Special Meeting will be to conduct a public hearing on the proposed 2025 Budget pursuant to RCW 70.44.060, and a hearing on its proposed regular tax levy for 2025. Final action may be taken.

The proposed 2025 budget is available HERE. The meeting agenda will be posted in advance of the meeting. No final action will be taken.

My rather eclectic work history includes law enforcement and security, food manufacturing, distribution,  sales, brand development, project management, political campaign strategy and messaging, nonprofit leadership, retail operations, and local governance. Having worked on one health-related project or another on Vashon for close to fifteen years, returning to serve a District I helped create is the honor and challenge of a lifetime.

I thrive on connecting with people, ideas, opportunities, and solutions, and welcome your suggestions, questions, concerns, or critiques. Outside of public life, I enjoy golfing, playing drums (badly), cooking (surprisingly not badly), devouring a good novel, pampering pets, and exploring new and familiar urban and natural haunts.
