Notice of December 17th, 2025 Special Meeting

In accordance with RCW 42.30.080, notice is hereby given that King County Public Hospital District #5, dba Vashon Health Care District, will hold a hybrid Special Meeting on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at 6:00 PM at the Presbyterian Church, 17708 Vashon Hwy SW, in the Multipurpose Room and via Zoom.

The purpose of the meeting is:
1. Swearing in of Commissioner Cugudda
2. Consideration of Compensation for Superintendent Johnson
3. Review of 2025 and look ahead to 2026
4. Discussion of new work group organization and
Commissioner assignments

Tim Johnson

My rather eclectic work history includes law enforcement and security, food manufacturing, distribution,  sales, brand development, project management, political campaign strategy and messaging, nonprofit leadership, retail operations, and local governance. Having worked on one health-related project or another on Vashon for close to fifteen years, returning to serve a District I helped create is the honor and challenge of a lifetime.

I thrive on connecting with people, ideas, opportunities, and solutions, and welcome your suggestions, questions, concerns, or critiques. Outside of public life, I enjoy golfing, playing drums (badly), cooking (surprisingly not badly), devouring a good novel, pampering pets, and exploring new and familiar urban and natural haunts.
